AIR-FLO DOCK SEALS

Recognizing the various needs throughout industry, Shelton Industries has developed, and patented, the most revolutionary state-of-the-art dock seal imaginable. Our "FLO-VENT™" system is designed to allow maximum "truck to pad" seal in addition to addressing other issues such as controlling insects, rodents and foreign debris while allowing air flow movement through the side pads.

Conversion from "air-tight" to "air-flow" is achieved by simply grasping the flaps at the bottom on the inside of each side pad and easily rolling to the top and securing with velcro strips. Bright safety yellow wind screen allows air movement in and out while keeping mosquitoes, flies and other insects outside the building where they belong. On rainy, cold, or snowy days simply roll the flap down to the bottom and it is held securely in place by the velcro strips from top to bottom. The beauty of the design is that you can convert from one style to the other while a trailer is placed against the pads. No more moving trailers and swinging the side pads away from the doors. No more broken hinges or other damaged hardware.

Each dock can be individually climate controlled to the workers comfort zone in just a matter of seconds!

The FLO-VENT™ dock seals are constructed with the most durable materials available. 40 oz vinyl over high-density foam chemically welded to pressure treated lumber. The vinyl is secured to the backer board with heavy gauge galvanized nails. Our patented process involves applying a heavy coating of polyurethane, such as used in the truck bed-liner industry, to the exposed foam and backer board in order to insure protection from moisture and harmful Ultra-Violet exposure in addition to increasing strength and resilience to the side members. Each side member also includes sacrificial wear flaps to insure longer life.
This product has been designed to take the punishment of day to day operation and remain functional. The added reinforcement of the polybutyl spray makes this design extremely durable and wear-resistant.
